Privacy and Policy

Purpose and Scope

This policy discloses what information we gather when you visit this website or sign up online as well as information we gather from our Android and iPhone applications.  It describes how we use that information and how you can limit information gathering. Our privacy policy addresses:

Information We Gather

We collect two kinds of information about web users: 1) Data that users volunteer by signing up to receive newsletters, completing surveys, and 2) Aggregated tracking data we collect when users view pages on or login or out at Recovery-Systems.org.  We do not gather any information from any of the Android or iPhone applications sponsored and developed for Recovery Systems PC or from Facebook or other social media sites.

Client information gathered as part of our outpatient programs is strictly regulated by State and Federal HIPAA legislation to ensure privacy and best use of information.  Everyone is welcome to request more information from our clinics about their own records and HIPAA privacy controls in place.  No client data is retained on our servers from web form completion.

Personal Information

No access logs or personal data is retained on Recovery-Systems.org as required by HIPAA regulation.

We do not share any information with any other company or organization except what is required to meet insurance and court or licensing requirements which explicitly sign to release.

Cookies

A cookie is a small data file transferred to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser when you visit many sites. Cookies enable systems to recognize your computer, so that personalized information and features can be provided for you. We do not use cookies to track user traffic patterns.  We do not use 3rd Party cookies for any purpose or collect any information for advertising.

You can set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies or to block cookies. If you block cookies, you may not be able to use certain site features or functions of Recovery Systems PC sites or applications, since industry wide, cookies provide for enhanced graphics, video and images.  We do not aggregate any of your login information or cookies, which are flushed with regular site cache clearing.

Notification of Changes

When there are non-trivial changes to the site Privacy Policy or to its Terms and Conditions, we will send an email to all registered members.  Since email is never totally reliable, this resource in the definitive policy source.
