Purpose: To facilitate a reduction of addictive behaviors, and reduce crime by enabling recovery through education and treatment.
Reasoning: If the client can stay clean and sober long enough, and change their playmates and play places, they will value recovery!
Stress is a major reason so many relapse.
When needs are met, and responsibilities are clear and possible, long-term recovery is possible.

What does Party Sober mean?
Party Sober Means to have fun sober or with one or two drinks. As opposed to getting “Drunk or Wasted”. What is the fun of being wasted? What are you going to remember?
Let’s face it if you need to become wasted you have bigger problems and need a Doctor!
If you can’t stop after 2-3 drinks (1.5 oz 80 proof liquor, or 5 oz red wine, or one 12 oz. Beer)
2 – 3 times weekly you are probably not in danger of becoming alcoholic/addicted.
Or maybe you can’t stop, or need to drink? Due to the damage alcohol does to the body when abused abstinence may be your only recourse.
Hangovers are a danger sign, they are a rebound effect of the body.
See Below – Normal drinking as defined by SBIRT https://www.sbirt.care/tools.aspx
